Sensei Mohsen Mahmoud
Sensei Mo was a world-class Karate instructor who has been training in Shotokan Karate for over 30 years and teaching Shotokan for over 23 years. He was a 5th Dan (degree) black belt.
Sensei Mo was trained by Sensei Okamoto, who was trained by Master Nakayama, who studied under Gichin Funakoshi (the founder of Shotokan Karate).
Sensei Mo is the Grand Champion of the International Karate Games, has won many karate competitions in both Kumite (sparring) and Kata (forms) in several countries (USA, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Scotland, Lebanon, just to name a few).
In spring of 2021, Sensei Mo passed away suddenly. He was a dear mentor, friend, and the kindest person some people have ever known. Sensei, you will be dearly missed. Your' teaching and training will continue on with all your students, both past and present.
For those who wish to continue training what Sensei Mo has taught them, you are free to come to Barbelt Warriors Academy in Raleigh where his former students are now training.
