Sensei Mo is a world-class Karate instructor who has been training in Shotokan Karate for over 30 years and teaching Shotokan for over 23 years. He is a Godan (5th degree) black belt.
Sensei Mo was trained by Sensei Okamoto, who was trained by Master Nakayama, who studied under Gichin Funakoshi (the founder of Shotokan Karate).
Sensei Mo is the Grand Champion of the International Karate Games, has won many karate competitions in both Kumite (sparring) and Kata (forms) in several countries (USA, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Scotland, Lebanon, just to name a few).
Senpai Jason has been training in Shotokan Karate since 2010 and is currently a Shodan (1st degree black belt). Senpai Jason fills in for Sensei Mo and teaches the Thursday 6:30 adult class.
Senpai Jason has a diverse martial arts background. In addition to his black belt in Shotokan, he holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a black belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). Senpai Jason began his training in Shotokan under Sensei Robinson in 2010, and is now being mentored by Sensei Mo.
Senpai Jason is a two time gold medalist two years in a row from the International Shotokan Championship, gold medalist two years in a row from the AAU National Karate Championship, and holds over 12 gold medals in Super Regional and State Championships throughout his competition career.
